In the age of terrorism I think everyone issued a visa should be required to have an extensive background check at there own expence or funded by an employer. This would create a bunch of jobs for americans and keep the rift raft out lol.

I totally support legal immigration. Migrants have great contribution in public life. They are mostly good citizens and hard workers.

But I am 100% against accepting refugees. They come here and spend government money, have at least 3 or 4 kids, and get the visa in much shorter time than the period that I waited. Yes, I am saying again: No! to refugees...

For LEGAL immigration... YES...

Lets not forget that we are all immigrants, yet most of us, or our distant relatives came here legally. So I am for it 100%, I just think that current immigrants need to be here legally.

I have no problem with LEGAL immigration where the people coming into the country are properly screened, and given paper so they contribute to the system they intend to use for their benefit.

For legal immigration with quota limits for countries who have an excess of workers in the US already. Also, there should be a requirement that we only accept workers who have skills in fields where there are shortages here. One example would be RN nurses who have a degree.

Obviously, there should be background and health checks on the persons applying for a visa.

For Legal and Illegal IMMIGRATION, as long as they want to work, pay taxes, love the country ,integrate into the society, respect and appreciate the values of the society or community they find themselves, and are not planning on living of the welfare state,but if the state refuses them the right to work ,then they have ALL the right to live off the welfare, after all we don't expect them to starve ,do we?

Support legal immigration for non-Muslim applicants, since Islam religion encourages the use of deception & unfaithfulness.
