Question for immigration attorneys in California...? |
I am engaged to an Egyptian national. He's lived here in the States twice before, both times in excellent standing. He was here for work. He's divorced with 2 daughters in Egypt. Is it wiser to bring him here as my fiance, or as my husband? Should I marry him in Egypt at the American Embassy, or should I wait until he's here? I'm going to Egypt in January, and was also there a few years ago. What is better, bringing him as a fiance or as a spouse? Btw, he is Muslim but has no affiliation with any religious groups like the Muslim Brotherhood. His legal record is clean, no laws broken. i lived with my husband many years in egypt as contractor. many mixed marriages i have seen and many green cards to the usa for egyptians. |
