How to get an immigration law passed?

I would like to find out how to go about getting legislators to look at passing a new law/bill. How do I go about it?

The same way you go about getting any law passed.

Start with your state senators and representatives. Try to get them interested. Try to get people you know into it as well, and have them contact your senators and representatives. If they believe in the bill, they will work on making it a law. If they don't believe in it, or there is a similar law already on the books, then they might not do anything.
