Is it time for Immigration laws to be tightened.?

Before you all start I'm not at all rascist,but I do believe the country is becoming overcrowded and that it is about time the politicians wake up to this fact and do something about it.Your views?

The socialists have a dream they want to share with the rest of us. That is massive amounts of immigration to the UK to create the perfect and tolerant society where so many people of different races and creeds live together that it will make it impossible for us not to get on together. The dream has only really just started, expect the population of the UK to grow dramatically over the next few years and for the socialist dreamers to move to ever more remote parts of the country to escape what they have created while still writing about how wonderful it is. No its not time, its way past time. They should have been tightened 25 years ago to stem this overwhelming tide of humanity that is crossing the border now.

Overpopulation and illegal immigration seems like separate issues to me. When we enforce illegal immigration laws, and you still feel crowded, what's the next idea?

It is not racist to think laws should be revised and enforced...don't let anyone accuse of that.

Yes, it is long overdue and it is time to crack down on illegals. Give them a choice: leave or be forced to leave.

definatly, but the government are making us sound like rascist by coming out with things like we should do away with christmas because its upsetting the imigrants, they are the sort of things that make me sick so dont blame yourself for feeling this way, this country is not ours any more

There's plenty leaving. It works both ways.

The issue is not overcrowding. The issue concerns people coming into this country illegally. Mexico is the major problem. Mexico is doing nothing to prevent people from crossing. Seems as though Mexico encourages it. The Border Patrol should be able to shoot anyone crossing the border. If people were crossing legally, they have no reason to swim and jump fences.

WAY past time - build the fence, enforce the laws, deport the illegals. Period.

find them, arrest and deport them and start an all out campaign to do so today.

(UK) I think so too but most people will just argue its good for the economy and stuff they don't realise that even if we built on the green belt we won't have enough houses i also don't see how its right to just give foreigners a free house and benefits i think everyone who is capable and old enough should work (with reasonable exceptions) and I'm not being racist that includes the British people that just sit at home living off the state.

the kids were born in poland 7 years ago... the kids have gone back to live with his mother in poland and be educated there we still pay for them and child care!!!!

Yes, we are overcrowded, and I think this is a large part of why we have so much crime and violence in some areas. They say if you overcrowd a rat population they fight to the death.
