Which is a more important issue; illegal immigration, or homosexual marriage? |
More importantly, why do you feel that way? Homosexual marriage damages the moral values of our Christian heritage and is now being flaunted in the faces of our children in schools and the pastors in our churches. Then "hate laws" try to stifle our opposition to those marriages. Do what you want but don't shove it down my throat by legislating away my right to disagree verbally with that lifestyle. Although the illegals must be stopped they are not undermining our moral fabric as a nation. My opinion: illegal immigration is the more important issue to America. Homosexual marriage should be considered a private matter of conscience between the two parties. I think the gay marriage issue is a smokescreen to divert Americans' attention from the really serious issues like immigration and the war in Iraq. Don't be fooled! Illegal immigrants that come here to marry their life partner is the #1 issue. The immigration issue is more important right now because to many illegals are on welfare and using their families who are still in mexico to get more than what an American citizen can get . Illegal Immigration, Homesexuals getting married is 2 adults making a choice that they have every right to make. Most important issue facing America today; Illegal Homosexual Immigration. unless, of course, we are talking about hot Latin Lesbians. illegal immigration is a more important issue. I'm really not concerned with what other people chose to be their sexual preference. After all whether you believe it's against the bible or not it's ONLY their issue to have to deal with in the end so leave them alone to do what they want. On the other hand Illegal immigration affects many people. I'm in support of a guest worker program. These people aren't here to hurt anybody they just want a better life for their families. Neither is the least bit important to any agenda. Immigration. I should think illegal immigration would be a number one priority as this would be more disruptive to a community and cost that community more than the issue of homosexual marriage. There will never be such a large number of homosexual marriages that it would affect America anyway. Most towns would never come across such a thing, whereas illegal immigration can and does affect many towns. There are tax-payers who are fronting the bill and paying out of their hard earned wages to support illegal immigration, whereas if two gay people decide they want to get married it does nor cost the tax-payer anything apart from the initial cost of passing the bill through congress. Anyway that's my opinion! |
