What is the update with that new Immigration bill? Last I heard, it was passed? Has it? What's happening? |
I want an update. No, it has not passed. There still are many disagreements about it and, even though it is a bipartisan bill, the compromises may be insurmountable. On CNN they said if there is no agreement by July, it will be left to the 2009 house to come up with a bill. Look on the news sites, not Yahoo Answers. No, it hasn't been decided. Full Senate to debate it, starting Monday Nothings been passed. They have an agreement on a proposed bill but it needs to be passed by the house then the senate then signed by Bush so it will be a while, if it's even passed at all. |
