Why doesnt the darn Border Patrol enforce the immigration laws? |
I see illegals hanging out all the time and the border patrol does nothing. It's a question of devoting limited resources to where they will produce the most results (and thus the most promotions for the Border Patrol officers, who are rated according to their job descriptions and priorities). What happened to your head dude? How do you know they are illegal? Do you realise in this touchy-feely, media-freaked society of ours, if BP acted on false information and detained "US citizens," the media would be on them so fast you won't have the time to say "Hey, Border Patrol, they're over here." The government would be embarrassed, BP's power reduced, and soon, before you know it, your local BPs will be jobless, loitering around with the "illegals." Easiest way to take care of the illegal immigrant problem is to hold the companies that hire them responsible. Criminally, with 20+ year sentences for the executive officers, direct managers, hiring managers, and Human Resource personnel that had anything to do with, or any knowledge of the illegal immigrant working for them. Companies wanting cheap labor is the cause of the immigration problem in the first place. If you get rid of the demand, the supply will dwindle. It would only take a couple of convictions, and noone would ever hire an illegal again. Simple. Because US corporations want cheap labour. The Immigration Border Patrol are not much funded by the US government, so it is becoming Citizen Border Patrol. |

Maybe, but you really should be able to spell, & use grammar properly! ...What hell!! They don't care about you sentimental life. ...Not at all, it will contribute to the problem and give more illegals a reason to come here and wait for the next amnesty bill. ...It will negate his chances of becoming legal if he is convicted. He will serve time for possession, and then be deported. It would be a good idea to start looking for a new employee. ...Of course not, but yet again the USA has let him get by with it. ...I am afraid it is highly unlikely it will be approved again. ...I think what you said in your last sentence is exactly what is happening!! If they do I will move to another country. Enough is enough! I can hardly feed my own family let alone continue to feed... Riverside had a thriving downtown where parking was at a premium. The crackdown had the intended consequence of clearing out a lot of the illegals from town which also provided a lot of extra park... |
