What do you think of George w. bush's decision over the immigration debate?

I think he is both correct in his approach, and very clever in courting a new voting block.

I liked MOST of what he's said. I think that leaving the illegals that are here alone, isn't the 'right' thing to do. He said that it is NOT amnesty. But I think that he is wrong in that description.

I really hope that everything else can be carried through. The borders absolutely need to be beefed up A LOT.

ok i just have to comment on Carrie P's answer - what the !@#$ does that mean? as citizens of our country it is all of our business. that is why we elect the president, to show we agree or disagree with his decisions!

I think it is amazing that he is focusing on a problem here in our own country for once.
