How do i get my documents notarized in the Philippines. Documents are needed for immigration to Canada.?

First of all, goodluck...

Now, basically, the procedure in authenticating documents, follow this sequence. You must have all your documents photocopied - for myself, I had them copied on the same kind of paper since it looks neat and presentable. Although some agencies would have them copied at their offices since sometimes (SOMETIMES) the authenticating fee includes the charge for photocopies. Anyway, I would strongly suggest that you have your documents photocopied by yourself. Nevermind the extra cost. You will it find it more convenient to have all your copies having the same neatness and quality. Remember also to have the exact number of copies you necessarily needs. Having two sets of copies is better than one, since who knows, you might need one when you landed in Canada while searching for job.

After having your documents photocopied, the real pain begins. SCHOOL RECORDS should be authenticated first by your college registrar, who in turn will transmit them to CHED, which will issue your CAV. The same goes also for vocational courses - you had to submit them to the registrar, but this time, after the registrar authenticated your documents, you have to bring them to TESDA.

PUBLIC RECORDS such as birth certificate and marriage/singleness certificate should come from NSO itself, printed in the agency's security paper. But before you go to NSO, better yet, go first to your municipal registrar where you were born and/or marriage registered and ask for a copy of your certicates. These documents aren't actually needed at NSO, but in case that the NSO issues a negative certificate for you (NOT REGISTERED, etc), you can give to them your certificates from municipal registrar. This way will save you time, and money. It happened to me, I wasn't registered at NSO, and it took me 45 more days before I was issued the certificate at NSO since I have to follow up to the municipal registrar.

PUBLIC RECORDS such NBI clearance are good as it is. You can get the NBI clearance without much ado, but sometimes they will require you to submit barangay and police clearance first. So I also suggest, you better prepare those, just in case. You don't need to have a picture id ready, NBI now is automated, they will take your picture there.

OTHER RECORDS which are personal should be authenticated first by notary public. This should be easy, but avoid those sidewalk notaries, go to reputable ones. Depending on the kind of record, they may need to be authenticated also by your Regional Trial Court.

After you have all your documents properly authenticated at local levels, it's now time to bring them to Malacanang. Go there early, there's only one Malacanang Office processing your papers, and there is a long line even at so called unholy hours... A WORD OF ADVISE: Please bring with you a brown envelope to contain all your papers. I didn't get one, and the employee give me one. I don't asked for it, but she nevertheless charged me 20 pesos for that damned envelope.

After you have your documents authenticated at Malacanang, (they can be released on the same day if you're early enough, or the next day, at the same hour you filed them), it's time to bring them to DFA.

DFA, is a haven for opportunist and scams so beware. A lot of people will offer you their services, sometimes their position in the line, so be on guard. Don't do business with those kinds of people. I don't need to remind you that some people use other people identities in processing their papers to go abroad. DFA release the documents after 3-4 working days...

That's it... good luck. In case you need more clarifications, check the link below.

go to embassy n check out

Definitely they are. You are not familiar with the usual proceedings? Usually there is one located in Malacanang extention building like they describe it, there they authenticated every paper or document you have in order to present them abroad or locally, but you are right before you authenticate anything, you have to notorize them. To begin with, you have to go to legitimize lawyers who notarize documents and not just those you see around the edges of the streets who state NOTARY PUBLIC, some of them are fakes lawyers and con men, so you have to go to law firm but the fee is much higher compared to these scum in the streets but at least you know they are genuine and the real mcoy.
