OK.my hubby was ordered to appear at the court this week, before an immigration judge.this will be the first?

,appearance. but we got a lawyer and told us that he shouldn't appear himself, because is the notice to appear a lawyer should represent him.so is it possible or ?

If you have a lawyer to represent you then technically you do not have to appear, but the lawyer cannot say that you should not appear. If he is the defendant in whatever case it is there is no reason why he cannot appear.

IMHO, presuming your lawyer is qualified to handle this sort of case, follow your lawyers advice.
