What would you do if you learned that your friend broke the law? Immigration question?

I have this foreign friend who came on a student visa. She has been in the U.S. for a yr now, and her sponsor owns a restaurant and does not provide anything for her. She wound up working at his restaurant as a hostess, and she also works as a baby sitter for someone else. She told me he pays everyone in the restaurant cash, and he does not take any taxes off (even for those who can legally work in the U.S.). She has become involved with this man: she is 30 and he is 63! Of course he told her to keep it secret. He is a French man who is an American citizen. By law he should be sponsoring all her life here in the U.S., but he is not paying her a dime. She is going through hard times because she has to provide for herself, and she cannot legally work in most places. I don't think it's fair for her to be here illegally and him not abiding by the law either. I don't want to tell on her, but it's an unfair situation with people who pay taxes. What would you do?

I keep telling her she became a sex and work slave to him.

I would notify the IRS and ICE. These people are being used in more ways than one. The employer is a crook and worse!

As a U.S Citizen, your obligation is to report it.
