What is the reason behind illegal immigrants not coming into the country legally? |
What is the reason behind illegal immigrants not coming into the country legally? They would get paid better and would not have to worry about immigration getting them, etc. Is the process of legal immigration really so bad that people rather risk their life to come to live an illegal existence in America? I hope I don鈥檛 sound ignorant, I am just really wondering. A matter of time, perhaps? Illegals cannot get visas or work permits in the legal process. Thus, they are forced to enter the US to look for good jobs. Because only a small number are allowed legal entrance each year. the process is really drawn out and difficult, it can take years, even for upstanding citizens with perfect records who can pass the test. And the citizenship test is quite difficult, try taking it yourself sometime, I don't think most natural born American citizens would pass it.The questions are very detailed and quite difficult. not just anybody can come in legally.First it takes long,second is expensive and third you have to have a reason.Either you are educated and a company wants you or somebody can sponsor you.Some people don;t even have a shot at a visa They don't all come across a blazing desert on foot to get here, if you have the money it's a quick hop,skip and jump to get here. Legal immigration takes time most people don't want to wait, they also know that if they are here long enough that they can become legal by amnesty. So as long as we continue to offer amnesty, people will continue to jump the fence. Money and TIME! |
