Help with a letter to an elected official? |
i need to write a letter to an elected official for my history class. it has to be about an issue our country has currently, but the issue also has to be related to an issue our country has had in the past the i can refer to it. like a guy friend of mine is doing his on immigration laws with mexico and in his argument he will be referring to irish immigration in the 1800's. if anyone has any ideas i would gladly appreciate them. you could try racial issues which are always a hot topic, as well as military and security issues not to mention you could compare the economies from to day to then as well, also, you could discuss politics and how it has and hasn't changed( everybody talks about dirty politics today well many of the founding fathers smeared each other on a regular basis, look it up)how about energy and the environment, look at the way Americans stayed warm in the 18 or 19 century as opposed to now. transportation is another possibility, horse and wagon to a hummer.lol any other questions let me know, i like to write so feel free to ask. dear crook...how many votes did you buy this time..... id write about wars how all the royal men had to go to war it was a duty and diffrence it now days how the royal men that want to go to war are at high risk and endangerment off killing so many people you could use england irland scottland and wales for that one and its verry intressting i think its high marks |
