Is the USA going down? |
I've heard a lot of people on Y/A (especially the immigration board) say that the USA is spiraling downward and will soon be a 3rd world country and we should all get out while we still can. I think they're overreacting way too much. What are your thoughts? While foreign policy may be one thing that is spiraling downward, we are in no imminent danger of becoming a third world country. The idea itself is hilarious. We are still the most innovative nation on earth and the country still possesses a wealth of natural resources. The sky is falling and only chicken little knows! Did you see hurricane Katrina? i think we are, but not that bad. are government is in control of to many things. The U.S. is certainly in trouble. Our civil liberties are under attack from within. Our financial system is completely unstable, and that's by design, from the criminal elements that run the federal reserve. And our very sovereignty is being threatened by the leaders that are supposed to protect America from things like free trade agreements and the horrible North American Union. My opinion is yes, but it doesn't have to be that way. Example: human rights? what is this? some foreigners(I don't say "aliens", but I should) invade our country, & it's ok for them to do it, they have "civil rights"?, and what about "terrorists" they have rights also? Oh! come on, we americans should know better than that. Somebody in the civil rights movement said: "I have a dream", but we americans should say: Never mind that boloney. If Obama is elected president, that will be the straw that breaks the countrys back. the ppl u heard r so wrong. the usa's civilization was built on the shoulders of such ppl.i'll tell u how i c it. if u look all around u & c americans 's ethicks going down then u need look no further. family values, human compasion, those r standars that r important not just ppl pouring 2 the us & pulling it down |
