Would you be willing to vote for a National ID card system? If not, why not? |
Do you think it would help with illegal immigration to require employers to check national ID cards for each employee? If they don't, fine them? We already have this, it is called the Social Security Card. Sounds a little like "Big Brother" to me. it would mean that all persons' were required to get the ID. Including-citizens. Scary when you read Revelations in the Bible i think this is what they had in mind. I wouldn't vote for it! I would not because there are better ways of spending my tax dollars We really don't need such a thing, after all we have driver's licenses and sheriff's licenses that are filed in each state. We just don't need to be giving out driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. People need to read the constitution and it's amendments. It is the government that is required to provide proof of you breaking a law. Requiring an ID to PROVE you are LEGAL, is not within the framework of the Constitution. I support a National ID program. We are already half way there. Almost every adult has a State drivers license. The problem is that some of the state's have very lax rules on what ID's you have to present to get a driver's license. I think that the rules should be the same in all states and that a photo ID from a National program be required to be hired. Sure. Let's put ID microchips in people's hands and foreheads while we're at it! You can require them to check whatever you want, the sad fact is - is that some employers would rather hire an illegal for $2-$3 per hour than an American Citizen for $6-$7 per hour. No, it won't help. |
