Is the north american union a good idea?

Now actually I wouldn't mind more unity with canada because of our similar traditions and government systems.What does worry me is Mexico with just 1/3 standard of living compared to ours.And also the illegal immigration problem,people who can barely read or write even in their own language,have limited skills,bring more drugs and crime into our country and are even able to get welfare and driver's licences without documentation.How absurd really is that.

This will be the final nail in the coffin of liberty and freedom. The globalists and new world order are drooling over this scheme.

If they made the North American Union then we wouldn't be illegals anymore and all that stuff you said about drugs and crime is not true.

This is once again this is about cheap labor and adding to the bottom of the business lobby . Once again the Powers that be in this country have little or no regard for the hard working middle class that pays their bills and the cost of running this country.

well from the canadian side,,,there is a union already in place,,,NAFTA,,(north american free trade agreement) set up by Ronald Reagan and Brian Mulroney. as far as i can see, it has made us(canada) one of the richest nations in the world(part or the trillionaire club). 80% of our trade goes to the US,,20% of US trade comes here,,,duty free because of that deal,,we are the largest trading partners in the world. barr none.,,,as far as the mexico thing,,,the US has alot more at stake than Canadians, it would be easy for me to say "yeah lets do it" but the reality is,,,,if US economy goes down,,,we are right behind you.

Ew no way! Our political system is much different then Americas. When we get pissed at our government, we throw em out, ie...Paul Martin. I think that Canada is slowly going in the right direction and that the states is quickly going downhill...for example your opinions of Mexico and Mexicans. Instead of blaming Mexicans for your problems...blame your government for not combatting these problems with success. So good luck with all of that...I don't want any part of it.
