Who,s the best political party for the job?

who if any polital party do you think could change the damage
blair and his new labour have done with this country and and the mess they have made with immigration.
and its failure to the ppl of britain

what damage.you are kidding right!

What damage?

Who cares about Britain anyway?

thats an easy on the british national party is the only answer to tony blairs labour party cock ups over immigration and the other loony left wing policys of this goverment

The Tory's under Mrs T, but that isn't gonna happen sadly! I will say The British National Party as they are the only party who can reverse Labour's monumental **** ups on immigration.

Best for the job: I'm not sure, but none of them will be good enough.

"Anyone who wants power automatically is not suitable for it" - Quote by who I don't know, but someone pretty clever! If you want power, then you'll use it for your own gain. What we need is upstanding ordinary citizens to be given power (ever read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and find out who really rules the universe?). The problem is picking someone who is upstanding!

The global one world party.

There is no right or wrong way, Labour got into power under the motto "New Labour, Old Tory."
The tories will get in, fix a few thigns but people will complain, the liberal democrats have ittle chance and I think they are full of lies also. The best thing for Britain would actually be to have the queen or our next monarch take over until a stable government who is politically correct and lsitens to the people enters

Certainly not the Tories, they are concentrating on image instead of policies and fighting the Labour Party for the middle ground.

UKIP have potential - they are worth a vote next time round.

Labour under Tony Blair is the best party for the job I have in mind. They talk so much ****, their policy on immigration is ****, their record is **** on Law and Order. Education and the NHS We have a vacancy for **** shovellers in the sewers of "Old London Town.

when tony quits he plans to sell the UK on eBay,
and it will probably be taken up by some rich Russian.
I am old man and i feel sorry for the next generation,
to have the problem of sorting the mess out .for the British to live a good life again

Firslty, I think the whole party system is part of the problem. MPs don't truly represent thier constituents because they have to toe the party line and massage the egos of thier leaders. I'm sure the Tories would toughen up immigration but there's little to choose between them and the Blairites/Brownites. Both parties are obsessed with themseles and the ordinary people come a poor third after they've taken care of their business associates. The LibDems used to have a policy of proportional representation which would get them my vote but I've heard little about it these last few years so I'd have to say the Greens because the real issue we all have to face is not immigration or the NHS or education but how are we going to change our value system from brash materialism to sensitive environmental management. New Labour and the Tories both have their fingers so deep in so many industrial pies that they'll never put the environment first, and both would rather fight foreign wars over oil than invest that expenditure in learning to live without oil. I think Ming Campbell is the only leader with any moral authority left but in a two party system I fear they're still destined to come second at best. Go Green, it's the only way to survive the next hundred years.

Welsh nationalists. Plaid Cymru.

Anyone with dual nationality would be queueing at the airport to leave after 6 months of that lot.

Cant see "Call me Dave" chartering the QM 2 to return the illegals to Afgannystan can you?

None of them they all talk crap

My views are pretty well represented by Richard E's answer. I don't vote because you are not voting for a representative as you are led to beleive but a sheep who will be coercced into voting with their respective parties agenda. The whole system should be scrapped and only single standing candidates should be allowed to stand for election, there should also be a limit on the amount of times someone can be re-elected.
If I had to choose a party I would have to go with (dare I say it) the B.N.P or UKIP - the country has been under left wing control to long and, as the old saying goes - if you only row with one oar the boat will only go in circles, we need to engage the right oar for a while to counter act the effect of the left.

When one of your respondents replied, "what damage", I felt your pain. Anyone who thinks that this government has been good for the country needs a frontal lobotomy. The problems, both economic and social, are of such proportions, that only the most drastic action could save us. Sadly, I don't see any party as being up to the job. Won't the EU eventually trump everything, and turn it into a complete, and permanent disaster? I would like to say the Tories, but Campbell worries me, because he believes that the centre ground has moved so far to the left, that he has to pander to it.
