We are constantly being reminded/warned that the D.V.L.A knows where every illegal car is in this country, they can tell at a glance where your car is and if it's taxed or got an M.O.T.

Now the government have admitted they haven't a clue how many terrorists or illegal immigrants there are in the country.

It's so simple, give the job of immigration control and inland security to the D.V.L.A. how about that then?
