Countries without free health care?

How much would a consultation cost?

I just looked at standard prices and it said 拢95 for an hour.

Is it cheaper for those countries which don't have free health care?

How would the average person afford that?

If it's insurance, how much would that cost and is there a limit to the number of times you can have a consulation?

I mean 拢95 for 30 mins

Here in the states it depends on where you live. A regular office consultation without insurance where i live is about $80 per half hour or 40 pounds. In other areas it may be as much as $200. Insurance can cost anywhere from $50-$1000+ a month depending on coverage, company, and the number of people on the policy. Some companies will pay all your insurance costs if you work enough hours and have a contract for that. And some will allocate a certain amount of money for you to choose a health plan that is cheaper or that is affordable. Since we pay for insurance through employment in most cases the money is taken directly from our checks. Yours is paid by taxes ours is an automatic deduction if we have employee insurance policies.

how do you think it is paid for in countries with "free" health care? its paid for by you too. only the government steals your money, takes a cut of it, then redistributes it how it sees fit, adds some red tape rules and regulations in there, and then pays for someone elses health care visit. it just costs a lot more than it would if it were a totally free market system. which america is not unfortunately.

it costs about $10,000 for the average family for health insurance in the US

or 5,000 pounds

youre probably right about the 95 pounds an hour for consultation

everyone i know that came from a european type health care system country say thats the thing they miss the most about home and cant understand why our system is so expensive yet doesnt cover anything

there is no such thing as free health care. some countries cover everyone and the care is paid for by taxes. other countries cover some of their citizens (usa) and the care is paid for with health ins. premiums. the usa is the most expensive system in the world yet our bang for the buck is not even close to the best. it all cost in the end
