What are 3 things your health care provider can do to ensure the privacy of your medical records?

Make sure your records are under lock and key along with controlled access to where they are stored.

Don't discuss patient information outside of exam room or Doctors office.

No files left on counter or near reception/nurses stations.

To many prying eyes and even in the hospital, staff discuss cases and should be behind closed doors and only with people on a need to know basis.
