My daughters father or his family has not seen her in a year?

My daughter is two and her father or anyone in his family has seen her or talked to her scince xmas.. What chance would i have to take him back to court and asked for supervised visit when he decides he wants her... She doesn't know him anymore...

he does pay child support when he is working.. but he is so far behind right now

Another choice to consider is revoking his parental rights to the child so that he can never have visitation again or get a chance to change custody to his favor in the future. If you need the money get a lawyer and take him to court over back child support. If he can't pay he goes to jail. They always come up with the money. And, the judge will order him to pay your attorney's fees.

sounds like a looser. I would say you have a good chance, obviously he is not putting her as a top priority in his life, and not paying child support or he would be seeing her. You are just looking out for her best interests, and her father popping in and out of her life when he feels like it is not in her best interest. Good luck.
