Who do i talk to about crossing da border with a felony?

I'm originally a canadian living in wi and we are planning a trip to go see my family up there.. but my boyfriend has a felony. He is native american and i know its a lil different when we cross cuz we are natives.
like who do i have to talk to about getting awaiverr or will he be able to cross?

Native Americans born in Canada with at least 50% Indian blood can freely cross the border into the United States, under the jurisdiction of the Jay Treaty, subsequent treaties, and US Immigration Law.

Required - Proof they are 50% Native American by blood. Some new (2008) Documents say 51%.

NEW Law (2008) - If they are living in the USA, they are required to apply for a Green Card as evidence of "legal perment resident status".

The Jay Treaty does not apply to all Native Americans born in the United States.

Canada recognizes the right of certain Native Americans born in the United States to enter Canada. For example, If the tribe is a border tribe (a split reservation), if the treaty identified the tribe, and if the entry point is the tribe鈥檚 historical trade route. Although not official these seem to have influenced challenges to the 鈥渞ight to enter鈥?

THIS IS THE LAW

Persons who are inadmissible to Canada
Those who have been convicted of MINOR OFFENCES (including shoplifting, theft, assault, dangerous driving, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of illegal substances, etc.), or of INDICTABLE CRIMINAL OFFENCES (including assault with a deadly weapon, manslaughter, etc) As well, those who have been convicted of DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

People with a record, do enter Canada, but it is breaking the law.

So there is always a chance of being found out and denied entry

Your question really puzzles me. Have you never crossed into Canada? They ask you your intentions. You tell them " a visit" . I'm sure they will ask some more off the subject questions then you proceed to drive into Canada. Unless your planning on living or applying for citizenship then there isn't any issue at all.

leave him where he is.
