Can i sue a dead beat dad's estate for child support not received?

Mom took him to court all the time ( 5 kids she raised alone) and nothing was ever done. Now he has died and left his money to his 2nd wife' s sister. Her lawyer sent a copy of will and a letter to sign stating we agree she should be executrix.

I believe that this would be listed as a debt he owes and therefore his estate would be responsible for paying. Please see an attorney in your area on whether this is correct for your particular circumstances and for help on how to do this.

When my ex and I divorced and child support was an issue, I learned a lot here:

In the end, you probably will have to consult an attorney. Wishing you the best outcome!

also if any of the kids are underage you can get a social security check now.
