I need to find a lawyer for my mother.?

According to my mother, a real estate person (or someone in a similar position) misinformed her about the day my mother needed to move out of her home, resulting in my mother to sell many of her possessions far below resale value. Also, she claims that the real estate person attempted elicited sexual favors in exchange for his assistance in the sale of her home.

I've never searched for a lawyer, and my mother asked me to do so because she is out of town.

I'd appreciate any answers to help me find the right lawyer. Thank you.

Doesn't anyone ever use a phone book these days? Also try Google "lawyers, city and state"

I doubt she has a case because she was not forced to sell anything. She might have felt compelled to sell but that doesn't matter. To be honest, as an experienced lawyer I would not take that case. Try the bar association of your state. They all have lawyer referral services.

go to google.

in that little box thingy, type the name of the state you live in, then bar association

click the button

pick the first one

read through the content and look for a lawyer referral service

It may be wise to contact the local Legal Association. They know which Attorneys do which, and what way to proceed. They don't charge a fee (normally). Good Luck and God Bless.....
