How long do i have to file an objection to a claim against my mothers estate?

How long do i have to file an objection to a claim against my mothers estate?

Call up the particular probate court and ask them. Sometimes they'll say they can not give out legal advice and you need to speak with a lawyer. If you wait to long in these cases, you run the risk of running out of time and the claim may be allowed.

Do it now. You can always amend your objection later. For the proper length of time to file objections in your jurisdiction though, you will need to contact the probate court or consult with a solicitor

Do it as soon as possible. Once the estate is sorted out and money/property disbursed, there would be little you could do.
