Department of real estate wants to revoke my license!!? |
my former employer forged my signature on a loan and the department of real estate wants to revoke my license for fraud on a loan that I did not do! they want me to file a response and I don鈥檛 know what to say... I don鈥檛 have money for an attorney pls help!! what is the department of real estate looking for in the defense? how can I keep my license? Your response needs to be an immediate denial. Tell them who you think forged your name. That might be enough to clear your name. If they bring charges against you, the state will give you a free attorney. If you did not do it, no charges will be brought. The state investigator can follow the paper trail and the money trail. Don't delay, deny it immediately. They need evidence that it was you and not your ex-boss who forged the loan, and you need evidence that it wasn't you. Even if you don't have the cash, you should probably get a lawyer because you risk losing future income if you lose your license. Eventually you may have to sue your ex-employer and/or the state. |
