Should the fed raise interest rates?

I vote yes.
The value of our dollar is weak.

High interest rates reward savers and penalize borrowers.
That's the way it should be.

The real estate market may be down....but view that as a good thing; you can buy houses for super cheap prices, without even going into debt.

I'm glad to see at least that interest rates have stabilized.....no longer going down. I'm happy with consistency. I like that better than one day up, the next day down.

Doesn't bother me any. I perfer the united states to be in debit and every one loses their houses. Easier for me to make money.

But we are mainly in this pickle because of the rising gas prices.

Those enviro. wackos get exactly what is coming to them.

As inflation rises, they need to tighen the money to keep a hold on the money flow...so yes, it probably is time.

But if the cost of oil goes down and stays down, so will inflation. So a small boost in the interest rates would be helpful...then wait and see what happens with inflation and the dollar.

Yes. For the reasons you state and to tighten credit.
