Marilyn Monroe picture and copyright laws? |
I have a poster that is on just regular poster paper like if you were to buy a movie poster from the video store taht is of Marilyn Monroe with her autograph at the bottom. I bought it at a yard sale and when I got home and took it out of the frame I found that the edges were folded under to make it fit the frame. When I unfolded the bottom edge I found this printed in the corner: It's a copy of an autographed picture (Marilyn was dead long before 1989). It's sold by her estate (the organization that owns her rights after her death) and represented by her agents. |
