Can someone tell me what is a probate estate lawyer and what do they do for you?

When someone dies, their possessions are considered the "probate estate." Each state has laws regarding how to legally transfer ownership of the estate to the heirs (if there is not a will) or to the beneficiaries (if there is a will). There are also federal and state taxes to be paid.

A person is appointed by the court to distribute the assets and pay the decedent's debts (this person is called an "administrator," a "personal representative," or an "executor," depending upon the state). Probate attorneys assist the administrator in complying with all the laws and paying all the taxes.

Well the exact wording of this i am not 100% familiar with. However I myself am a estate executor if a probate estate lawyer is anything similar to a estate executor they are to carry out the wishes of the deceased when it comes to the property and or finances left behind. When you say probate it makes me think of probate court which i had to go through in order to become the recognized executor of the estate.
