When I was 18 I was charged with Theft by Deception, a class B Misdemeanor. Can I get my NY Real Estate Licen?

was convicted, but recieved an early discharge fo behavior and first offense.

Did you please no-contest, or guilty?

"Charged with", or "convicted of" ???

A charge alone has no effect at all. If you were convicted though, probaby not, because theft is a "crime of moral turpitude" - ie dishonesty - that would usually bar you from an RE license.

Richard

yes , you will have to show documentation on the case but you will be able to receive your REL.
