Does everyone who is listed in a will entitled to receive a copy of that will from the deceased attorney?

have had a aunts will opened within the last month and was told that i am listed as one of the inheriters of her estate but have not been officialy notified by the attorney and was wondering if i am entitled to a copy of that will and when i should receive it?

you'll eventually get a notice from the executor of the estate of the status. No state law in most places requires you to get a copy; can always trott down to the probate office, get a copy and find out who is the executor

If the attorney is deceased they can't give you a copy...

Moving past that. You should get a copy of the will or what you were given from the executor.

You should receive notice of the reading of the will. Not aware of requirements to provide copies. Contact the attorney and ask when it will be read.
