Neighbour from hell!?

I'm after some advice as to what is the right channels to go down to complain about a problematic neighbour. Me and my gf recently (the last 5 weeks) moved to a flat and the lady who lives in the flat next to us has been repeatedly banging on the wall and shouting, usually at night time when we are trying to sleep.

Today when I was leaving for work she confronted me outside and wanted to know why I am making so much noise, I explained that it is definately not us as we are at work for most of the day and when we are home we only watch TV quietly. She wasn't having any of this and is adment it is us. She then went on to complain that me and my gf were leaving cigarette ends in her garden, which is surprising considering neither I or my gf smoke. The final thing she complained about was that we have 2 cats which she claims are banned from the estate, although in our time there we have seen dozens of cats. She implied that she would harm the cats if they went in her garden.

Help!

Perhaps contact the realestate agent or landlord where you got the hosue from.

They may be of assistance, and may have information of previous tennants possibly having the same complaints?

If any action is taken against your cats (god forbid) thats the time police should be involved, or someone of high authority like that!

Good grief! I would have reported her to a local authority.

Your neighbor appears to be unmistakably sick. Trust me.

Bad luck.

send flying monkeys after her like in the wizard of oz. or just, i dunno, buldoze her house while shes not looking or something.
