Estate attorney in PA? |
I am the executrix of my father's estate. There is a home estimated at $80,000 market value to sell, a $22,000 nursing home bill, $13,000 funeral bill, and an annuity for $100,000 that was transferred to my brother and myself 6 months before his death. An attorney wants $8,000 to settle this estate. Is there a better and less expensive way to handle this? Sounds like you need an estate planning attorney that is practicing in PA. I would start by looking at several sites. If you are looking for more information check out findlaw - great for information pertaining to your legal issue. If you are looking to hire an attorney search for Pennsylvania estate planning attorneys on targetlaw - great for searching attorneys by a specific search term in a specific area. Thank you for the site referrals. They were very helpful in determining resources and information available. Great answer! Report It I would just say, contact a few different estate attorneys and get their rates. Other than that, I think you have it taken care of. |
