If you have a person buried by the state in nebraska who is responsible for the burial costs? |
my mother died three months ago and i have two siblings of whom had nothing to do with my mother for about 5 to 7 years until her death. At which time i contacted them to let them know of her passing. my mother unfortunately did not leave a will to divide her assets between the three of us so my brother without informing my sister and i had himself appointed special administrator of her estate. since then my brother and sister have both have been making decisions about her estates and removing property from my mothers house without my knowledge. they have not included me in any of the dealings with the estates since he was appointed. personally im just glad that my mother was properly buried and is no longer fighting with OPCED and diabetes. im just concerned about being the only one paying the full burial costs because i was the only one there to sign the papers with the state. please help! whoever pays the bills for the state of Nebraska, tax payers. |
