Distribution of Estate? |
If a person goes missing, and then is declared dead and their estate is distributed as per their will, and then they're found and they're alive do they get everything back? or what happens? The estate is not settled for several years after someone is missing. In rare cases, the process can happen more quickly, but it is never automatic. If, by some rare and unusual circumstance, a missing person does turn up, they will no longer have legal claim to their estate. |
