If real estate and cars are the biggest investment, why are "most of them" so irresponsible, unethical & shady

Why is it that the biggest investment people will ever make such as real estate and automobiles, employed by a predominantly populated group of unethical and dishonest, greedy characters?

Cars are NOT an investment. They depreciate rapidly except the rare old ones.

If you were to buy a Mercedes or a Cheap Chevy brand new---BOTH will look like crap in 7 years. It then becomes how much money are you willing to throw away to get from point A to point B?

Biggest investment would be entering the stock market after a satisfactory amount of research on how.

u just answered ur own quest, ppl would do anything for money n as a result are very greedy. People are always asking for more money n hungry for more money, thus starting an evil cycle of greediness. People will do anything for money, remember, "money is the root of all evil."

I have never dealth with a shady realtor or car salesperson. I have met them but I have no dealings with them because I am an educated consumer and if I am spending my hard earned money then I am going to deal with a person I see as ethical and capable.
I just bought a brand new car -- I started at one dealership with a salesman who did not meet my expectations on customer service. So I took my money and headed to another dealer and found someone I felt was competent and ethical.
Being an educated consumer helps keep you out of the hands of the shady salesman.

Cars are not a good investment. There are very few things that depreciate as much as a car. The moment you drive it off the lot it looses at least 10% of it's value.

Real Estate in most cases is a good investment. Property can be leveraged, it is a solid asset, it can be used as a source of income. Well maintained real estate will almost always increase in value.

They answer to your question however is a little thing called commission. Some sales people only get paid if they close the deal. They are just trying to make a living.
