Can a California real estate broker get a commission for selling to another broker? |
A real estate broker sold my house to another broker and is trying to collect a commission for representing the other broker from the proceeds of the sale. Neither brokers told me that the buyer was a broker. The buyer is a millionaire investor who locates depressed properties then cuts deals with the seller's broker not to disclose their identity as a broker. When it went to escrow, my broker tried to say he represents both buyer and seller, but in this case, the buyer is also a broker. Any experts out there? Thanks They sure can. |
