Why would I recieve information regarding an estate? |
My aunt died and I got information regarding her estate but Im not an hier, why would I get this notice? im sure im not an heir because i called the executor In case you have a claim against the estate Are you sure you are not an heir? Are you sure you're not in her final will? Are you sure her will (if she has one) is even valid, and that intestate succession wouldn't apply? You are a relative and it just might be that the probate court in her jurisdiction is required by law to notify you. |
