Ban on Bacon Frying?

i heard that some labour and lib dem councils want council tennants in housing estates and large blocks of flats, not to fry bacon in the morning as the smell will offend ethnic minority tennants
i really do hope this is a wind up but knowing labour prob the truth
what do you think

frying bacon is not a health and safety violation

however, hanging your sheep outside your house is.

that is here in england i am not familiar with other countries laws

and that is the point, this is england, abide by english laws and if you dont like them well you have the option to leave.

now unless they make it a law that bacon is not be fried in the morning i shall continue to slap the rashers in the pan and cook them.

if a politician even hints at making a law such as that i am sure their political career will come to an abrupt end probably about the same time as it takes for me to make a bacon sarnie

i just thought i would add this

'Bacon butty' lorry driver caught

A driver has been found cooking a bacon sandwich on a camping stove on the hard shoulder of the M1 in Northamptonshire, the Highways Agency has revealed.
The lorry driver, caught near junction 15, was given safety advice and told by traffic officers to take his break at a service station, a spokesman said.

good timing i think for this question

oh and this link is interesting its about a council banning a sandwich shop making bacon buttys

Sorry Archie... the quote in the answer that you seem to think is the "source" for your bullshot is 3 years old - look at the date on it... "this is where it must have originated"... crap, mate, absolute crap. Report It

To hell with them. I like my bacon and if they don't like it they can move.

Things like this are just getting stupid. If they come to the UK they should accept our culture. If i lived in another country i would do the same.

No Xmas trees for you it will offend other religions., give me a break!

Tell them to F*ck off thats what i think enjoy your bacon

thats freakin rediculous. i'll fry my bacon when and where i want because im free to do that in this country and they can by nose plugs or something. i still think thats unbelievible . a ban on frying bacon. gimme a break.

They wont stop me frying my favourite if they tried that stunt.

As long as I can hang a sheep outside where I live to make it Halal. I will kill it by slitting its throat in the street, according to Muslim law.

Hope it's a wind up, I really do. S*d the ethnic MAJORITY!

woo thats awful if

ppl should try to get a job in get outa places like them there not nice
i feel bad for them
hope i dont end up there lol

xxx

just hang a pigs head out the window, that will really piss them off

Really? Is there some ethnic minority group to whom the smell of bacon is offensive?

A story dreamed up from the depths of your imagination.

Tell us who they are and we can go see what they actually said... this kind of thing (three little pigs, xmas stuff, so on and so forth) is usually taken out of context and bandied about as the word of nameless and faceless "councillors"... without a name or direct quote, no one can say anything, for or against, about this gossip. Just inflammatory rubbish. "You heard"... from where?

As for the other indignant people commenting on this as though it IS (as if!) proposed to be part of law... about time you stopped looking for false opportunities to hate others at every turn... you don't need an excuse, if you want to hate another part of society, just go for it... but don't hide behind this rubbish. Weak and feckless.

@Leslie D: who exactly are "they"? I'm not sure I know ANYONE who wouldn't be offended by a pig's head hanging out of the window of someone's house.

@Alex: your quote is sooo 2005, and it's clearly the vegetarians that are causing the problem and not ethnic minorities. Councils don't do these things out of hand, the bacon sellers didnt apply for change of purpose and when they did, retrospectively, it was denied due to complaints about, among a list of many other things, the smell.

Excellent wind up mate

It's bullshit but juding from your answers people will believe anything the BNP spews out
