An example of biochemical predisposition to crime would be...?

A. instinct
B. mood altering drugs
C. a defect in glucose metabolism
D. environmental influences

B. The chemicals react with your brain to increase the chances of you doing something stupid, like crime...

C. Defect in glucose metabolism. Its asking for an answer to a biological issue. TAKING a drug doesn't count, which eliminates the second best answer.

Vermillion - you'd be correct IF it weren't for the "Predisposition" aspect to the biochemical issue. Basically, it would be a naturally made product from your body.

Pretty much the only one with REAL legs is the mood altering drugs.

Overly creative lawyers have been able to pawn the others to get individual clients off, but you simply should note those as cases where incompetent prosecutors were at the helm.

Instinct, defect in glucose metabolism or environmental influences ALL have one simple failure point. If it was the case that instinct or blood sugar was going to make people crazy it would be ALOT of crazy people and that just doesn't happen primarily because its just not true.

In general if the correlary to these statements is just comical it probably shouldn't be considered, for example, "Consider that some Diabetics seem to be able to strangely abstain from their diabetically inspired homicidal impulses and not kill anyone their entire lives - go figure. - So much for the "Twinkie defense".
