What if the U.S. Military went rogue?

This is a very hypothetical question, but for entertainment and question sake, what if the U.S. Military went rogue, and started attacking the civilians of the country?

What would the U.S. Civilians do to fight back? The military is equipped with tanks and high powered automatic guns. What could the civilians ever do to fight back against a rogue military? Will the strength in numbers be a factor against the military? Would the civilian agencies such as the CIA gather secret weapons to fight off a rogue military? What would militias fight back with?

We would join them and kick some liberal a$$!

Hypothetically, the armed civilian population could wup em. It would be a bloodbath in the beginning, but fear and survival would take over. Traps would be set, equipment stolen. But our military would never fight their own, even under orders. We would get help from inside. It would make for a good movie, like "the rock", with sean connery

If there is ONE agency that you do NOT want to mess with, it's the C.I.A.

They have their own private army as well as assassins with weapons that you would never expect to exist outside of a James Bond movie.

U.S. Citizens who own firearms would join forces as well. Let's not forget the police forces across the country have access to armored vehicles with tactical assault weapons as well.

The strength in numbers would prevail over the military.
