What do lawyers for music and entertainment? |
do exactly? Well, music and entertainment can involve some high stakes contracts, so a lawyer can negotiate contracts and help guide the people bound by the contract into comfortably complying with it to stay out of trouble. Personally, I like listening to jazz, going to the movies, and reading contemporary fiction. Oh. Wait. Maybe that's not what you were asking. It depends on which part of the industry they work in. Working out contracts and protecting the intellectual property right of their clients are probably the most important aspects of their jobs. There are a number of bands made up of lawyers in the UK, some quite successful. Me, I am talentless and listen to others! |
