Perhaps there is a future for some who lived in captivity for a long time?

I read the story about Natascha Kampusch. Who was abdicated on her way home when she was 10 years old. She lived in a prison underground for 8 years, then she took a chance to escape when her kidnapper was taking a phone call. He jumped in front of a train and killed himself hours later the kidnapper is dead. She was the only ''victim' so far who insisted on seein the house again...she escaped in 2006, at age 18, now she is 20 and she wants to cope by hosting a talk show...also she wants to talk to the 42 year old woman who was held captive for 24 years by her own father .. Perhaps some to whom such an ordeal happens do have a chance to ''overcome'' their ordeal.. What do you think...

I believe she is not doing this for money.. I believe she feels she needs to host this show.. because it is her only way to find closure sometime in the future..? She seems a strong person for someone so young (20 yrs old) escaped from 8 years of captivity 2 years ago..

I would agree that she is trying for her own closure. We would each have to find what gives us the release we need to set something behind us in life. Considering what she lived through, it is amazing she is strong enough emotionally and mentally that she can cope in a public referendum.

Searching, searching, searching...

Nope, no question here.
