I want to be an entertainment lawyer. How many years do I stay in college? How much do I get paid? |
I really need to know. And dont get off topic....with lame stories just tell me what I need too know?!?! There are no hard-and-fast rules about any lawyers earnings. There is no set course for becoming an "entertainment" lawyer (or a "sports" lawyer, or any other specialty). You just have to convince a number of entertainment people that you can be useful to them, by proving yourself. You could spend whatever spare time you can reading about cases involving entertainment people, so that you will know what precedents apply. Your earnings will be commensurate with your successes, since you will probably be working on commission. You might also try for employment in firms which handle a lot of cases in that industry. Better get a law degree and pass the bar as well. That's another 3+ years after college. To be a lawyer period your looking at 7-8 years of school. |
