Am I at fault for supplying small-scale "entertainment explosives"?

Alright. I have a question. I make various explosives or combustibles may I, for paintball matches. I sold a small scale flash powder Pull ring ignition grenade to a friend under the agreement on paper that it was for the purpose of entertainment only, and that any damage he does or law breaking done with it, I'm not held responsible for. Does this still put me legally at fault If he blew up somebody elses property or damaged it with it?

Thank god I'm being theoretical.

I don't like the answers I'm hearing.

Explosives are prohibited by federal law. Your small scale operation may not send the ATF kicking your door down, but regardless, you are doing something illegal.

I doubt a written agreement will protect you, and could probably be used against you.

Making the thing in the first place without a licence or under the employ of someone licenced is probaly illegal in most states. Selling explosives without a licence, particularly to someone else without a licence is not just a minor offence, but criminal negligence. If he loses an eye, his hearing, or even burns himself slightly it is criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

Somehow "blew up somebody elses [sic] property" and "small scale" don't quite seem to go together...
