What is an entertainment lawyer?

Does that just mean they work with celebrities and take care of their legal issues? How do I become one? If I want to go into that field should I go to a law school in California or is it okay to go to one in my home state?

Try becoming a bankruptcy lawyer. Bush is making it a rapidly growing market

No, they just don't work for Celebrities. We had to hire one for my son's royalties. He died and we had to go to one for the Royalty payments and to make sure all of his music was copy written. It is a very great field to be in and they make money. it would be wiser if you went to a school here in Ca. But research and choose what would you prefer. Good luck you couldn't have picked a better field of Law.

They deal with issues concerning entertainment law, like copyrights, broadcasting, the current labor negotiations, etc. Very few actually work for celebrities, most of them work for companies, both the large studios and smaller music companies.

You can go to law school anywhere. You would just have to take the bar exam in California or wherever you want to practice.
