What do entertainment lawyers do, and how many hours do they work?

What do entertainment lawyers do, and how many hours do they work?

There are many different types of entertainment lawyers, and their hours (and compensation) vary tremendously depending on their experience, whether they work for big firms or on their own, and on the size of their client base.

Entertainment lawyers may work on contracts, rights issues, show development and packaging, agent related work/management, as well as keeping their clients out of various legal problems.

Also: Entertainment lawyers often work for production companies or major studios. In that case their compensation depends on their experience level, and their hours are usually quite normal.

They mainly deal with copyright issues for works like music and movies. They probably work just as much as any other lawyer.
