How many years do you have to to school to be an Entertainment Lawyer?

I was curious. I don't know if I'd be going to law school or not. I'm dealing with lawyers and have been ripped off by one and given the run around by others.

An American Bar Association approved law school is generally 3 years long. To be admitted to such a school you'll need an undergraduate degree (i.e. a BA) and to take the LSAT. After going to law school you'll need to to take the bar exam in the state into which you want to be admitted (and Cali is super-hard).

When you're in law school you can take classes in Entertainment Law, to help you focus on your specialization after graduation, but there is no specific courses you have to take. That being said, some schools (like USC Law) are probably better at Entertainment Law. Good luck!

law school is typically three years after college. If you start counting at kindergarten -- 20.

7 years total. You need to get your bachelor's degree and then complete law school. There's nothing special about entertainment law (or any other kind of law). You don't have to have special training, although it would be wise to actually take the class.
