What can I do about AMF bowling NOT accepting my coupon to make me spend more?

I had a AMF coupon buy one get one free from Entertainment book, and when I went there today 2 people were very unhelpful saying they won't accept it today because they have the $1.49 a game special.. although the coupon says "VALID ANYTIME"!!!
So AMF authorized for those coupons to be printed that say "valid anytime" and they won't accept it at certain times..

Why are they doing this to consumers and what can I do to take them to court and put those people in jail for 45 years or more?

lol...report them to the Better Business Bureau! lol give them bad rep. Better yet don't bowl there! CASE CLOSED!

My wife got talked into buying one of those books for $20. And in it were coupons for national retailers that were worth hundreds of dollars. Sounds goog until you go to use them.

Nearly every company in that book refused to honor them. They always had some excuse why they didn't apply in THIS particular situation.

Probably some of the worst negative advertising these companies ever did for themselves. I remember the companies and won't do business with them anymore.

Still, they don't seem to care, and from your description, they're still engaging in the practice. For what purpose, I can't figure out.

But, ask yourself this: Are you willing to pay hundreds of dollars, research volumes of law, just to get restitution of $1.49 or however many bucks it was?

I think if you read the fine print, you will find coupons, and this applies to pretty much all coupons, not just Entertainment Books, do not have to be accepted with other coupons, sales, or specials. One special at a time!

Here is wording from a "Show & Save" coupon I just happen to have in my pocket: <not valid with any other specials or discount offers>

Basically the coupon gives you a sale price at a time of your choosing, not just when there is a sale, and you should be able to get the lowest price any day, but not the combined total of all discounts ever offered.

Careful perusal of the books, and planning, allowed my wife and I many expensive dinners at reasonable cost with the in-laws. It has also allowed us a couple of nights at better hotels than we would otherwise have afforded, extra discount on rental car, free oil change, free pizza, etc.
