Did you hear about the illegal immigrant who was "having a bad day" & murdered movie director Adrienne Shelly?

I was reading an article about Andy Griffith being in the movie "Waitress" and found out that this very talented & intelligent young woman ,who acted in and directed this movie was found murdered in her Manhattan apartment/office. The guy confessed to killing her & told the police that she had complained about him making too much noise in his apartment below. He stated that he killed her because he was "having a bad day."
What a waste! Plus she had a 2 year old baby who is now motherless! I hope he rots 'you know where'. Has anyone read what his punishment was, if so, can you post the link for me?

Artman, you are right. His status is irrelevant but I'm wondering if he'll get immunity for his confession like some before him & that's the reason I mentioned it. And I agree, she should have complained to the police & now she's dead b/c of her mistake.

That's why is not a good idea to confront people you don't know how they will react. She should have call the building administrator or cops to deal with that loser and his noise. Safety first!

By the way he didn't kill her because he is an "illegal immigrant" , he killer because he is a murderous psycho.
